It was manufactured as 4-door sedan from 1995 until 2009 and 5-door combi wagon from 1996 until 1999. This model is manufactured with only petrol engines, and both manual and automatic transmission styles are available.
The Mercedes-Benz W124 is the chassis-designation for the 1984 to 1995/96 version of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, 'the first generation officially referred to as E-Class'. Jump to Manuals
The W124 models replaced the Mercedes Benz W123 models. The W124 is a mid-sized vehicle platform that was sold in North America from 1985 through 1996 model years.
The German engineering and quality of the W124 was designed to last many years, as awards were given and worn by high mileage versions.
